Very excited to be a finalist for the Face Of Fox - learning the ropes into the social media world so any tips and tricks you can share are most appreciated! But couldn't feel more honored to be a finalist!
Music:
Just about anything and everything except for maybe head banger music. Though perhaps, even that for a moment or a particular day:[ lol.
Movies:
Mostly romantic comedies, yes I'm a sap. But, I also love action adventure movies containing superheroes! My favorite - Wonder Woman of course! And Spiderman - but loved Heath Ledgers last Batman movie! Took me days to recover. Shawshank Redemption was always one of my favorites, but so was 13 going on 30 (can I admit that????)
TV:
FOX, Fox, oh and did I say FOX one more time!!!!! The Doctors #1!!!!! I watch them every morning without fail. NM Style too!!!! Sorry to see Michael go, he's great on there! American Idol, Glee, Kitchen Nightmares, (Yikes!) Also love anything Oprah - and love documentaries, anything educational especially related to health - mind, body, spirit and love learning about the brain!
Books:
Just about any - though strangely I don't read as much as I'd like. I read alot of manuals eeeek! Love learning about technology and strangely they're easy for me to read. For fun, I do read magazines however. Anything with health/fitness/relationship info/self-growth/help, inspirational etc. Okay, yes I do read an occasional celeb gossip mag or two, once in a great while - gotta indulge occasionally right??? But only in the good way, don't like harping on people's hard times or making fun of them.
Likes:
Love Joel Osteen - he's so incredibly articulate! Hiking, zumba (am an instructor even! - 3 levels certified), biking, camping, interesting lectures, concerts, just meeting people and finding out what their interests are. I love talking to people about their own passions in life and what they really love doing! People are endlessly fascinating in all their different shapes and sizes.
Dislikes:
Mean people. But best just ignored.
Hobbies:
Creating anything. Video editing - I could do it until I'm blue in the face. Singing and performing - could do it until I was purple. Just love connecting with people and above all watching them shine. I love getting people up on stage with me and having a good time!
Vices:
Too much chocolate sometimes. :)
Virtues:
Compassion, kindness. I always say, it's just a good idea to be nice to people. You never know what just happened to them in their life. They could have just lost their child, mother, sister, husband. Ya just never know. So as a rule, just a good idea to be nice. Other virtues I believe in: Humor, patience, self-compassion, diligence, determination. Eyes on the prize. Just doing your best to live your life to its absolute fullest with as few regrets as possible.
Heroes:
Oprah, Carol Burnette, my mother, my cat, Ryan Hreljac who at 6 years old started raising money for drinking water in Africa and now as a young man has his own non-profit organization. Any child or adult who clearly gets their purpose and is living a life that honors it at its most basic level.
