About Me:
To know me you must understand the family I come from. As the youngest girl with four older brothers, life has always seemed just a bit crazy. My parents instilled within all of us not just a good work ethic but something greater, the mind that wonders into dreams of achieving what we love to do. My parents have also always been the couple of the community who opens their home to everyone and then work hard to create a joyful experience in whatever the occasion is. My brothers and I are very different from each other, however, being the youngest I feel like I've gained some of there best traits.
My oldest brother has been known as the knowledgeable technological guy. The second brother is the sports guy, bar-tending manager, and screen-writer. Third oldest is the comedic, graphic designer, photographer/videographer. The youngest of the brothers is the drummer, the music guy who knows everything there is to know about music from the history to production to entertaining all.
Now who am I? I feel as I’m a little bit of them all. I love music, entertainment, sports, designing, technology, managing, art, and creativity. I guess that could be the reason why I chose the degree Sports and Entertainment Event Management.
For as long as I can remember I have always been the type who wants to be involved with different projects and will use my love of organizing to bring events together.
I've been blessed with many opportunities in life so far. Working at the 2010 Winter Olympics, many events through MTV Networks such as the Comedy Central Roast of David Hasselhoff after party, events surrounding the Video Music Awards, the Scream Awards for Spike tv, premier parties, cocktail receptions, the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, and even got to work at Oprah's Network Launch party. In Albuquerque I've been working with the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce on events from the LAAA Mayor's Luncheon, to Education day to our Annual Leadership Conference. At night I've been able to enjoy the Albuquerque music scene. Being the manager of a band and the sister of a drummer my ears get to hear many diverse sounds while my eyes have been opened up to many intricate pieces of art. Life can be crazy but it's beautiful and I feel very lucky to live amongst great talent and beauty. If you're ready to learn more just remember "Mi Kasa es su Kasa"!
